With three generations of leadership, Riesterer & Schnell has grown into the premier John Deere dealer for Northeastern, Eastern and Central Wisconsin. Their success centers on exceptionally well trained and skilled staff whose emphasis is on superb customer service.

Each employee champions the Riesterer & Schnell mission statement, “Coming through for you” by delivering innovative solutions with an unmatched sense of urgency, so your equipment is ready when you are.

What started as a three man business adventure in 1931 has turned into a multi-faceted successful company with 12 locations throughout Wisconsin. “It is all about our people, our employees, because they are the front lines interacting with the customers and representing the entire company every moment they are here,” General Manager Waldo Riesterer explained. “Without their hard work and enthusiasm we could not forge ahead setting new goals and bringing in new business.”

All departments receive continuous training on communication, whether it is between employees or employees and customers. “We work together as a team to get to the solution,” Marketing Coordinator Angie Ansorge said.

Located at the corner of USH 151 and STH 67, Riesterer & Schnell’s showroom features lawn tractors, Ariens’ products and a full line of STIHL merchandise as well as toys, clothing and a special customer convenience area. The Parts Department is conveniently located as part of the showroom and includes two floors full of parts to ensure they can meet the customers’ needs. “We have parts for anything sold here,” Ansorge said. “We can help our customers with any make and model.”

“We are part of the Ag community,” Riesterer said. “We like to think we help feed the world.” According to Riesterer, agriculture is a huge part of the local, state and national economy. “It is helping to drive the economy,” Riesterer added. “Ag is a bright spot. We are glad to be part of agriculture business.”

Although Riesterer & Schnell is a full source for new and used tractors, combines, sprayers, riding mowers, skid steers and implements in Wisconsin, they are not just for farmers. “We offer snow blowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaws and lawn mowers,” Riesterer said. “Our showroom is full of merchandise including toys and hats. We encourage people to stop in and see what we have to offer.”

Sales Equipment Consultant Ben Zick is excited to offer customers the newest addition to the John Deere line. “We now have the John Deere RSX 850i,” Zick said. “This is a utility vehicle geared to the outdoor enthusiast. A side by side unit with more speed and power, the RSX 850i is a recreational, fun type vehicle.”

Zick said Riesterer & Schnell carries a wide variety of residential equipment. “We have mowers that can take care of the simple city lot to the large property owner,” Zick explained. “We can cater to every budget and lawn size.”

Offering the latest commercial line of zero turn mowers, Riesterer & Schnell offers the newest updated equipment featuring increased fuel efficiency and user friendly products.

“It’s not what size we are, it’s how good of a job we do and that has to remain our primary focus,” Riesterer explained. “We can never forget that Riesterer & Schnell Inc. exists only through the work of our dedicated employees and by satisfying our customers.”
