“We took a field, and we created something,” she said.

So what advice does she have for those starting out like she did in the early days?

“Start out small,” she said. “Experiment. Find out what you like. See what happens.”

Some plants are easier than others, some less fussy.

“It depends what you want, too. If you’re working and don’t have a lot of time, there are plants for that.”

“It’s just finding out what fits you.” That, and doing a little at a time.
