Libraries help patrons hear

The public libraries of the Manitowoc-Calumet Library System, located in Brillion, Chilton, Kiel, Manitowoc, New Holstein and Two Rivers, are able to provide assistive sound system equipment to accommodate the hearing needs of library patrons.

Patrons can place a request for this equipment for meetings and events which take place within each library. Patrons may initiate a request by calling the library, or in person at the front desk.

The purchase of the portable sound systems was made possible through Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant funds, awarded to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
