As one who works in the parts department, Kathy said she often relies on the technicians whose knowledge of the terminology allows her to identify parts that go by different names. “I can go to the technicians as a resource for the parts store. It helps a lot,” Kathy said.

AutoSource services vehicles, both domestic and foreign, medium duty trucks, RVs, ATVs, campers, trailers, golf carts, mopeds, and Bad Boy Buggies.

Besides vehicular parts, the firm has parts for lawn mowers, boats, and agricultural equipment. They also carry tires for trailers.

To mark the business’ Silver Anniversary an open house will be celebrated on Friday, May 25.

Hours at Auto Source are MondayFriday from 7: 30 a. m.-6 . m. and Saturday from 8 a. m.-4 p. m. The firm is closed on Sundays. For a service appointment or for information, call 849-4443.

are employed in the AutoSource repair shop. The current repair shop staff consists of Clint Brown, Bill Sjoquist, Craig Cyrus, Patrick Neuman, and Tom. They are mindful in keeping up with new technology, stay up-to-date on all cars, take outside classes and make use of ongoing education service to which AutoSource subscribes. The technicians, combined with the parts store, reflect 169 years of experience in the automotive industry.

The parts department people are Kathy, Dan Zienert, Chris Welch, and Dan Hilton. The delivery folks are Darlene Mertens, Lori Wautier and Matt Bennin.

Credit goes to employees

Observing a quarter of a century in business, the Schmitzers credit their employees with the success they have enjoyed. “There is no way that Tom and I could have reached this milestone without our employees,” said Kathy.

As a general posture, employees of AutoSource enjoy working at the business because of the challenges they are faced with each day. For the shop technicians there is a contentment in diagnosing and problem-solving issues. Parts department employees take pleasure in solving customer problems. One employee said,
