Kiel Cooperative Preschool is a state-licensed early education program offering half-day classes for children 2-1/2 to 5 years of age.
Parents may choose to have their child attend two, three or five times per week. As a parent cooperative, parents are involved in all aspects of the program.
The curriculum at KCP meets or exceeds all Wisconsin Early Learning Standards. Children participate in hands-on activities focusing on skill development in the areas of fine motor, large motor, pre-reading, pre-math, science, social studies, and social/emotional development. At KCP children learn through play.

Founded in 1972, Kiel Cooperative Preschool is in its 39th year of providing a developmentally appropriate preschool experience to young children from Kiel and the surrounding area. The preschool opened through the efforts of area parents who saw the need for a preschool program in the Kiel area.
KCP will celebrate its 40th anniversary when school begins in fall of 2012.
