Riesterer & Schnell acquires Serwe

Riesterer & Schnell, Inc. announced recently that it has completed the acquisition of Serwe Implement Co., Inc.

The acquisition consists of two John Deere dealerships with locations in Campbellsport and Fond du Lac, which will give Riesterer & Schnell a total of 10 locations located throughout northeastern and northcentral Wisconsin.

Serwe Implement served the Campbellsport area community since 1934 providing John Deere products and services. Serwe Implement opened the Fond du Lac location in 2006 with the addition of Serwe’s Countryside Store. The Countryside Store has the John Deere Turf line along with Purina feed and pet supplies.

Waldo Riesterer, general manager of Riesterer & Schnell, said, “We are extremely excited to continue to enhance the history that the Serwes and John Deere have developed in Fond du Lac, Dodge, Sheboygan and Washington counties over the past 78 years.”

The majority of the staff, with over 210 years of combined John Deere experience, has joined the Riesterer & Schnell team.

Riesterer & Schnell was founded in 1931 and has locations in Chilton, Hortonville, Neenah, Pulaski, Denmark, Pound, Antigo, Medford, Campbellsport, and Fond du Lac, all representing the John Deere Agricultural, John Deere Turf, and John Deere Commercial Worksite lines.
