A good corporate citizen

While offering quality products and services is important, Fuhrmann practices good community relations and neighborliness as well. Geiger said Fuhrmann is very good at supporting and funding local causes with generous contributions of time and labor. Fuhrmann participated in the Brillion Nature Center expansion project and also donated to a Habitat for Humanity home in Valders. The company routinely contributes sheet metal to Brillion High School’s Technology Education Department.

Fuhrmann holds professional memberships in the Brillion Chamber of Commerce, the Mid-Shores Home Builders Association, Inc. and the Manitowoc County Home Builders Association. Fuhrmann participates yearly in the Mid-Shore Home Builders annual home show each March.

Service at Fuhrmann is available 24/7/365 as someone is always on call. When customers call Fuhrmann’s regular number outside of business hours, emergency calls are transferred to the employee who is on duty overnight and on weekends.

A nice feature Fuhrmann offers includes adding some residential customers onto an annual computerized list for whom annual checkups are performed. It is best to get on the list before the weather gets too cold. Most of these checks other than oil units can be done year round.

Owners of Fuhrmann Heating & Cooling are Mark Behnke and Lyle Lannbrecht and the company will mark 34 years in business with 13 full-time employees along with part-time employees.
