Football season is right around the corner and August is a popular month for vacations, so combine the two with a trip to the National Football League Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Visitors from the Tri-County News area might want to pause in front of the bust of Chilton High School graduate Dave Casper (above), who went on to star for the Oakland Raiders during his Hall of Fame career. By car the drive to Canton is about 540 miles and 8-1/2 hours on the road.
The first image seen when entering the Hall of Fame building is this wall-size photo of former Packer Brett Favre celebrating a first down in a snowy game.
